Our main organizer Ivo Kruusamägi was inspired by the 2015 competition to write a blog post (“On the Science of Images and Wikipedia”) about the visual representation of science in Wikipedia, where we are now, and what could be better. We’re hoping that this competition will inspire others as well to work towards this same goal of making science more visible and available to everyone!
